Ecco Freddo is a family of modular objects; grog clay and sand.
These pieces are a nod to the technique referred to as desert refrigeration, developed primarily in Northern Africa. Two walls, separated by a void, come into contact with a flow of dry air and a source of water to cool the contents of the ceramic.
Ecco Freddo therefore encourages us to consider our conservation and consumption habits of food on a daily basis. Each pot is tailored to the characteristics of different families of foods: leafy vegetables, root vegetables, and fruits.
